Iizaka hot spring which is located in Fukuoka City in Fukushima Prefecture is a hot spring resort that is one of the 3 famous hot springs and representing the Tohoku region!
In Iizaka hot spring, there are many spots where you can feel the history and culture of Japan, and it's a pleasant hot spring town to enjoy strolling.
This time we would like to introduce a public bath and recommend a café which is a symbol of Iizaka hot spring!
Great atmosphere! Town's symbol, Sabakoyu
Sabakoyu is the oldest bath in Iizaka hot springs, and it has been popular as a oldest wooden building communal baths in Japan.
The appearance made of cypress wood is noticeably full of presence in the hot spring town and the building is stately!
Unfortunately, we can't take pictures inside, but the bathtub made of granite are beautiful and the water was hot, so it was great♡
The sping quality was a simple spring, and the water was clear and odorless, as well as the water flowed directrly from the source.
