Kakunodate's Bukke Yashiki Dori, practically just the way it was during the Edo period.
This cityscape is a historic masterpiece with it's weeping cherry blossoms is spring, the deep fresh green in summer, brilliant colors in autumn and snow in the winter.
[12:00] Exploring Buke-Yashiki
Buke-Yashikidori, untouched cityscape.
The snow here is very beautiful this time of year.
Walk a short way and you see Buke-Yashiki lined up with souvenir shops and tea shops scattered in between.
Was really so cold I had Marukawa's flat udon noodles with amazake and konjac oden.
The retro post box just standing there was so photogenic,
The pot of oden warming on the stove was so relaxing.
