The Miyazawa Kenji Dowa Mura is a facility where you can step and play in the fairy tale world of Kenji Miyazawa.
Various themed rooms are in this facility including the Universe Room with a giant kaleidoscope made from 3 mirrors, the Earth Room with a diorama of insects and plants and Kenji's Classroom that has log houses lined up.
Many artworks are displayed here so it is fun to look around and take photos.

Jodogahama is located in the center of Sanriku Fukko National Park and Sanriku Geopark and is a picturesque scenery spot representing Iwate Prefecture.
It has been selected as Japan's Top 100 Beaches, Japan's Top 88 Sea Bathing Spots, Japan's Top 100 White Sandy Beaches with Green Pines, and more.
The contrast of the white rock surface and the blue sea is definitely worth seeing once!

There is also the mysterious Blue Grotto that is dyed in an emerald green color.

National treasures and a beautiful garden tell the tale of the glory of Hiraizumi culture

Hiraizumi is a town located in the southwestern area of Iwate Prefecture and is full of many temples, gardens and historic ruins.
The especially recommended spot to take photos is the Pure Land style garden of Motsu-ji Temple with a big pond.
The surrounding trees combine with the landscape so you will be able to take beautiful photos.

Photographing is prohibited inside the Konjiki-do Hall of Chuson-ji Temple so be careful.
At Hiraizumi, there is a collection of many shogun's scarlet seals so be sure to check it out if you are interested!
